(Brisbane) Fields of Compassion: How the New Cosmology is Transforming Spiritual Life

August 18, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

$25

Based on the writings of Judy Cannato and others, we will ponder a transforming vision of spirituality that examines the intricate connectedness of the physical and spiritual worlds, a phenomenon Judy Cannato calls the “field of compassion.”

Facilitator: Elizabeth (Liz) Lee is a scientist, educator, pastoral theologian and Spiritual Director. Over the last 8 years, Liz has been a chaplain among prisoners in a NSW correctional centre and offered pastoral care to those living with homelessness. Drawing on the insights from science and spirituality Liz will help us explore this new understanding, affirming our capacities for healing and compassion in our world.

When: Sunday 18 August, 9.30 am to 3 pm. Morning and afternoon tea provided. BYO lunch. Come for the whole day or just till lunch.
