The Grail Meets Laudato Si’

February 8, 2018

The Grail, an international movement of women and active in Australia for 80 years, has been deeply influential on several generations of Australian women. We recognise that the young women of today will play a defining role in shaping the future of our planet.

That's why we've created a new program to give young women the opportunity to explore what it means to be committed to both a deep interior life and a life of commitment to the world. We'll be doing this, not only through the life story of the Grail movement, its hopes and its achievements, but also through the prophetic vision of Pope Francis in his encyclical, Laudato Si’.

Lauudato Si Book CoverMany things have to change course, but it is we human beings above all who need to change. We lack an awareness of our common origin, of our mutual belonging, and of a future to be shared with everyone. This basic awareness would enable the development of new convictions, attitudes and forms of life. A great cultural, spiritual and educational challenge stands before us, and it will demand that we set out on the long path of renewal (202) ~ Chapter Six of Laudato Si’

This program has been specifically designed to speak to the concerns of Generations X and Millennials – however all are welcome. Come be energised and inspired! The series will take place at the Grail Centre over 6 Saturdays:
