Reflection Afternoon #3 ~ Imelda Adfred Gaurwa – indigenous founder of the Grail in Tanzania and first African elected to the Grail’s International Presidency Team; devoted to how the Tanzanian Grail can sustain its own cultural identity and be faithful to making the Grail vision a reality.

Women of Vision has been described as “a book that expands significantly public knowledge of the contributions of Catholic laywomen to church and society over the past century.” It tells the story of 16 of the founders of the International Grail movement.

In our 3 reflection afternoons this year we will look at 3 of these pioneering women of faith. Their stories challenge us to consider what it means to be people of faith today and what it is we might be called to do in our own time of great change.

The reflection afternoons will be held at Justice Place, 6 Abingdon Place, Woolloongabba on Sundays from 2-4pm. Justice Place is well served by public transport and parking is available onsite and in Abingdon Street. A donation to cover the cost of refreshments and the use of the facility would be greatly appreciated. All welcome!
