(Sydney) Moving together towards a culture of nonviolence

From Jesus to Gandhi, Martin Luther King to Nelson Mandela…individuals from many traditions have demonstrated the deep power that comes from the practice of nonviolence in their personal life and in society

Join us for this introductory seminar as we begin to explore what it takes to live a life of active nonviolence.

• Jesus and nonviolence

• nonviolence in action

• creating a culture of non-violence

Claude Mostowik MSC President of Pax Christi Australia, an international Christian peace movement. Claude will share reflections on the groundbreaking international conference on Nonviolence and Just Peace which he attended in Rome this year.

Gill Burrows Pace e Bene Australia, a movement which promotes the spirituality and practice of active nonviolence.

Michael Barnes Uniting Church minister.
